ADS Story
In the fall of 2000, Renee Keener, after a decade in business began searching for diversification for her company, MontCo, Inc. Established on September 11, 2001, Renee Keener’s new company was born in the midst of the creation of a new era for America – hence the name American Document Securities.
American Document Securities first purchase was an on-site shred truck equipped with an Allegheny mobile shredder and has grown into a full service records management center. Shredding and storing confidential documents is the driving focus, nothing else. The records storage department was established in February of 2003.
In the spring of 2004 Renee submitted her company to the Georgia Women’s Business Council for the coveted approval and certification process and In October of 2004, ADS became a Certified Woman Owned Business and is also a Certified SBA Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce chose Renee as their first recipient of the Carroll County Entrepreneur of the Year award in November, 2006. American Document Securities, Inc. is a AAA Certified member of NAID, the National Association for Information Destruction, an international trade association which sets the standards and ethics of its member companies.
American Document Securities has continued to grow and add services. We offer records management, consulting and document imaging. In response to new laws and need for organizations to provide required training; ADS conducts regulatory compliant Employee Information Protection & Destruction Training and HIPAA / HITECH Information Protection & Destruction training for medical practices, hospitals and other businesses that work with Protected Health Information (PHI).
